We do not watch the clock or enforce rigid time limits. Sessions are unhurried by design because the most genuine, relaxed portraits happen once everyone settles into the moment. While most portrait sessions naturally unfold over 60 to 90 minutes, our priority is capturing authentic connection and beautiful light rather than cutting off the creative flow.
Living in the Pacific Northwest means soft overcast skies and gentle mist often provide the most flattering, cinematic portrait light. However, if heavy downpours or severe winds are forecasted, we keep things flexible. We track forecasts closely 48 hours prior and will happily reschedule to our next mutual opening at zero fee.
Every session includes our curated Wardrobe Guide. We generally recommend cohesive, complementary earth tones, warm neutrals, creams, muted taupes, and textured fabrics rather than matching identical outfits. Avoid neon hues, busy graphics, or logos so the focus remains entirely on your expressions.
We photograph throughout Clark County (Vancouver, Camas, Ridgefield, Washougal) and the greater Portland metropolitan area. Popular backdrops include Lacamas Lake, Frenchman's Bar Regional Park, the Vancouver Waterfront, and scenic parks across Portland. We are also always happy to come to your home for intimate, candid documentary sessions.
Within 7 to 10 days of your session, you will receive a unique access code for your private client portal on our website. You can review all your session proofs comfortably from your phone or computer, tap the heart icon on your favorite images, add any custom retouching notes, and submit your selections directly to the studio.
Once you submit your selections via your proofing gallery, each portrait is individually hand-retouched and color-graded. Your final high-resolution, watermark-free digital collection is delivered via private digital download within 10 to 14 days, complete with a full commercial or personal print release.
Yes! The Senior Experience package includes a complimentary digital file cropped, formatted, and exported to your specific high school's yearbook publication standards (aspect ratio, resolution, and deadline guidelines), ensuring an effortless submission for parents and students.
Reserving your session is simple and secure. You can book your package directly online through our integrated Square Online Checkout system using any major credit card, debit card, or Apple Pay. Once your reservation is received, we will contact you personally to coordinate dates, scout your location, and send your Wardrobe Guide.
