Are you looking for documentary style wedding photography?

Introducing wedding photography…

In the past, I have done weddings upon special request. At the time, I was getting into documentary-style photography (on the street primarily). I enjoyed working with brides and grooms, but I was just coming into my own. Today, I am here before you as a photographer who tells stories through pictures. I am looking for couples who want a photographer to tell their unique story. As your photographer, I will work hard for you, but I will be an observer, a documenter, and I will capture the authentic, non-posed images that you desire.

Non-posed portraits

I will never asked anyone to say ‘cheese’ or even to look directly at the camera.

If your idea of a nightmare is a bossy, demanding photographer who makes staged photographs, then I am the guy for you…

I work discreetly, making candid photos, and I blend in with your guests.

I hope you like my style and my sample images. I would love to shoot your wedding.

Your wedding should be documented authentically.

Some images I make have the illusion of being posed. I assure you I found the happy couple having a moment together and I waited for an opportunity to capture it for them. I also made this image for their children, their grandchildren, and their parents.

My ideal clients…

My ideal clients are looking for documentary-style photography of their intimate wedding. They want the story of their day and love to be told in pictures, and they're not interested in a photographer who intervenes. My ideal clients know that I am bound by the fundamentals of good photography, using light, shadow, composition and storytelling to create memories to last a lifetime and beyond.

Your ideal photographer…

Captures authentic moments as they happen.

Has the ability to put together a story, with beginning, middle and end.

Produces natural looking images.

Creates images that make you smile.

No matter how small your wedding is, you spend a lot of time, money and effort making it the perfect day. You don’t want to spend a large portion of your day being dragged around by a photographer. He or she should allow me to be free to spend my day with my family and friends. The photographer should be invisible, yet present to capture the sweet moments throughout the day.

If this sounds like what you’re looking for in a photographer, then you’ve found me! I know that finding the perfect wedding photographer can be a real challenge. I hope this helps you understand who I am as a person, as well as a photographer.
